Welcome to Plenteth - our family-run Cornish farmhouse tucked away in peaceful countryside just outside Ladock, near Truro.
Plenteth is a place to gather, slow down and explore. Whether you're holidaying as one family, bringing grandparents along, or sharing the adventure with friends, there is space to enjoy Cornwall together.
Our central location makes it easy to explore both Cornwall's north and south coasts, while back at Plenteth there's nature, growing, wildlife and plenty of space for curious minds.

A space for everyone to come together
Plenteth is a characterful Grade II listed Cornish farmhouse with four main bedrooms, an additional sofa-bed room and space for up to 10 guests.
It's particularly well suited to families who want to holiday together — including grandparents, extended families and two families sharing a Cornwall adventure.
Outside, you'll find places to sit, eat and enjoy the fresh air, while the surrounding family land brings another side of Plenteth to life.
Ducks and chickens, food growing, renewable energy, woodland and permaculture-inspired land management all form part of the landscape around you.
And dogs are welcome too. 🐾
Explore & Learn
We believe curiosity is one of the best ways to learn.
As a home-educating family ourselves, we know that learning doesn't have to happen at a desk.
Around Plenteth there are real-life examples of renewable energy, food growing, permaculture and land management to discover — from our wind turbine and battery storage to swales, chickens, ducks, vegetables and medicinal plants.
Interested in what we're doing? Just ask. We're happy to offer guests a free informal tour of the land and share some of the ideas and projects we're exploring here.
Families can also book our Catch It, Store It, Use It! workshop — a hands-on exploration of energy that follows its journey through plants, food, wind, electricity, batteries and fire. Designed to work across different ages, children and grown-ups can discover together where energy comes from, how we capture it, how we store it and what happens when we use it.
And beyond Plenteth, Cornwall becomes the classroom — with coastlines, rock pools, wildlife, geology, mining heritage, gardens and history waiting to be explored.

Adventures don't always have to be busy!
After a day exploring Cornwall, Plenteth is a place to come home to, slow down and enjoy being together.
Share dinner around the table, sit outside as the evening draws in, wander around the garden or simply enjoy the peace of our little Cornish valley.
We're also creating more opportunities to relax and reconnect at Plenteth, including our new red light sauna - watch this space!
